A fan relay lasts how long? I put a new one in one year ago. It seems
to be bad AGAIN!

Depends on the quality of the replacement and whether or not it got submerged at any point.

fan relay
OEM relay lasted a few years the replacement was the automotive equivalent
and lasted a year, same item as its replacement is holding up well now but I
carry a spare from a parted out KLR now too. Hot is not good.

Interesting. Mine was a NAPA equivalent and lasted one year too.
Maybe they have a birthday party, get drunk, and quit work.

The new one was made in Taiwan, not China. HUGE improvement, do doubt.
Where are the Kawi relays made? Not Japan, I bet.
