rim swap? 2008 vs 2000

Hi Micheal Hi have done the same and all you have to worry about is the front brake rotor and think the the rear is OK . All you need to do to confirm is measure the diameter of the rotors. It is well worth it if you want to have a street and off road set up. I can do the swap in 30 minutes. I have a 2008 KLR650 and have wanted to get an extra set of rims, my bike is my everyday transportation. So being able to do a quick swap would be a big help. Now I have the chance to get a pair a rims and tires off a 2000, and want to know if they will work, if not what would it take to use them, if it is possible? Anyone know if it will work?
