I first encounter those on my '07 DL1000 Suzuki. After understanding the concept, loved them. To keep the screws on my KLR, a touch of silicone seal on the threads of every bolt, screw. SO FAR, have not lost one YET in the last 12 years.
SO FAR. Now, it's gonna happen next time out. LOL.
