Randi, At www.buykawasaki.com look under "frame fittings" in the parts diagram for your bike. You should see the brackets you're looking for there. Eric _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com

Eric, Thanks for the suggestion. I had already looked there. One of the other listers confirmed what I had suspected. Kawasakid does not sell them separately. They are only sold as part of the engine cowling. Randy Eric Mercer wrote:

Hi, Kurt. I have one left over from when I bought the Kawasaki bag set up and then found that they wouldn't fit over a Corbin seat without modification. I then bought Tim's set of racks to hold the Kawasaki bags independently. So, I have the support bar left over. Give me $10. for it and another $5. for freight and its yours. Sure it has. I bought a '01 with 10K and later the speedo/odo stopped working. Checked the cable and it was OK, took apart the front hub to check the gear and founf out the tangs had been broken and JB welded back into place. A quick fix if your selling something. Don't know how long it was broken before the fix though. Could have been immediately after breakage or it could have been fixed years after breakage. Not saying that the one your looking at has the same issues, just something to think about. jim

Does anyone know if a bracket has been made to adapt the newer 2piston front caliper to the single. or better yet, one that will adapt the double piston caliper to the oversized EBC disk? Thomas J. Komjathy DSK L.L.C. dskllc@... [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
