If you recall, I do. Check your old emails. Mark At 3:06 PM +0000 8/22/11, CY wrote: Well, sigh, I bought a 2006 frame off eBay for $400. Got it half built, then noticed the subframe bolt sheared off in the frame. Could not drill or easy it out. Sent it back for a refund to the place in Kentuck. Does SOMEone have a decent frame i can load good stuff onto? Craig [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

battery in texas

I remember a while back someone posted some voltages that a OK battery should have! I have a 2008 on the second battery with only 5K miles, first battery was killed by me as when it died it was totally dry. With the heat in TX about 105 for it seems like months checked the battery again and added distilled water to it. When I did ride it recently to get gas it's seemed like that battery was SHOT when I attempted to start it after refilling. I also start it and allow it to run 2-3 times a week for 15 minutes. What was those voltages? If I recall it had when cranking and without? Thanks!

When fully charged it should measure about 11.8v with no load. When cranking (from a full charge) it should not dip much below 10v, definitely not below 9.

You are fighting a losing battle my friend. Next battery get an AGM. Then stop worrying about the electrolyte. Jim
