klr650 noises

Post by Jeffrey » Tue Aug 16, 2011 11:11 pm

The only noise I ever notice is whether it is running or not. With a metal skid plate echoing and amplifying the normal racket of a thumper, who the hell can tell much by listening? I just maintain my KLR. Though some people apply truck be liner to metal skid plate which might allow you to catch some foreign noise. Now that I added a Jardine exhaust and wear earplugs; can't hear much at all except the smooth powerful bass tone. It is starting to use some oil but rarely see any smoke come out the exhaust. 34K J#3
