Dang, I do really need to start proofing what I write before hitting the send button. :-/ From: Tim Pruitt To: Fred Hink ; "DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com" DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com>; jim reinhart Sent: Friday, July 22, 2011 6:33 PM Subject: Re: [DSN_KLR650] moab video Amen Fred. As one who has had ridden off road and to deal with off-road riding issues, you are exactly right. I have seen some really great off-road riding areas closed simply because one guy has to say, "Watch'ich" and tear off through the woods, or up a hillside just to show off or say he went where no one else did or on the pimise that the other roads were boring. It will only get worse as management agencies have less and less money to maintain and fix these areas. Stay on the trails. Videoing yourself making new tracks is just plain stupid. Don t think the BLM has computers? HA The reason we have lost a lot of riding areas is because of riders like this guy. Most of the riding areas around Moab are restricted to existing roads and trails. There are thousands of miles of roads and trails here. You ll never see all of them if that is all you had to do. Making new tracks will get the trails we do have shut down. Be sure to thank Johnny Ringo for his contribution.
