It's not like typical contact cleaner. It's not a noxious, evaporative liquid (it's sorta oily). We used it in a bottle rather than the spray can. The spray I believe is diluted.
You apply the red with a swab or a chopped acid brush and let it sit for a minute or two. The tarnish, etc will wipe right off. After wiping off the excess, we would apply the blue liberally with a swab then assemble the connector and weatherproof it.
If it was a handheld radio or something, they were supposedly weatherproof already but in practice that's not really the case. The battery contacts and mic connectors were the worst. I managed to resurrect some equipment that I thought was "well done".
