ufo low fender for 2002 klr650, green
Fred,
I haven't been able to tell from photos, but will this fender mount if there's a fork brace in place? I currently have this one: http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/viewLargerImage.do?prodFamilyId=29037&navType=type> This photo of my Eagle brace shows 4 mounting holes that might work to mount the fender?
I don't want to lose the brace, but do want the low fender. I hope to lose the fairing and install twin lamps and a more effective wind screen without fairing if possible. I may need a stronger alternator, but I really want twin beams and better screen. We'll see how it looks, but I'm more about function. Here's something along those lines http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k500/trent_gress/100_1011.jpg>
If I get the fender and it can't work with the brace I have, to you have one it will work with? If not, and it doesn't work out, if the fender is kept pristine, can it be returned?
Thanks for your consideration,
Steve Jacobson

Steve,
I have a KTM supermoto fender mounted to the bottom of my Eagle fork brace, running with a 120/80 18" Michelin Pilot front tire with no clearance issues. I was able to fit the fender with no modifications, save the four mounting holes that had to be drilled to attach it to the fork brace. The stock 21" Dunlop is just a bit shorter overall, so it should work well.
