canyonlands motor classic 2011

Post by SM » Wed May 11, 2011 12:25 am

Is anyone from Southern California interested in going to this, the most awesome bike rally of all? I plan to be there one way or the other. One way: Truck bike to Mesquite, Nevada late Thursday night. Stay there Thursday night, ride super awesome pavement and trails to Moab Friday. Stay Moab Friday and Saturday nights, riding and wrenching, back to Mesquite then truck home Sunday. The Other: Ride Tiger 1050 to Moab at Mach speed Friday, all pavement (Boo!), endure contempt Friday and Saturday night, ride home at Warp speed Sunday. If anyone from So Cal wants to head out with me, please let me know... Been too long since I have been to Mecca. I mean Moab. Thanks CA Stu A13 PS Must have new tires, decent tools, sense of humor. No whiners. :D PPS Mrs CA Stu's enthusiastic reaction: Me: "The Canyonlands Motor Classic is June second to fifth this year!" Her: "Off you go!"

This gathering of dual sport riders (mostly KLR) is always the first weekend after Memorial Day. So the rally for 2011 will be June 2 - 5. Mark your calendars and hope to see you all there. > http://www.angelfire.com/ut/moab/cmc.html > > Fred > www.arrowheadmotorsports.com >

headlight bulb in an 08+

Christopher, They take H7 bulbs. You'll have to *carefully* pry the reusuable plastic adapter off the back of the OEM bulbs and attach them to the new ones. As always with quartz bulbs, try not to touch the glass and wipe any fingerprints off with alcohol. =) eddie
