I bought a supermoto rotor off of ebay in the fall and just today got around to attempt mounting it only to discover that the mount holes are too small for the mounting bolts. They are lined up, just not big enough. Would you drill them out if you were in my situation?

drilling out mount holes on a rotor
Yes but use a drill press not a hand drill.
Also you want to use the smallest drill bit
you can to get the bolt to fit.

I'd probably ask the manufacturer. Who made it?

M7 and occasionally M5 bolts are reserved for service where the design engineers don't want users or machine operators screwing with adjustments or settings. There are two or three pitch variations to increase difficulty in matching... but you should have a bolt and screw company in any major metropolitan area.
Before you kill yourself machining your own screw or spend $80 for custom TI replacements, email me and I'll get 'em for you from Austin nut and bolt around the corner from the office!
