changes in '09 - '11

Post by everettcapebreton » Fri Feb 11, 2011 11:12 am

Any significant changes between '09 and '11 models. I haven't had a klr for a few years but I'm ready to buy a newer generation model. I see that therings got changed in '09. Any reason, other than color, that I should buy an even newer model? It's good to be back!

I haven t heard much from Lew since he left on his big trip. Don t know where you last heard about him but there is lots you can read about his adventures if you want to Google Punky and Lew . It sounds like Punky and Lew are doing relatively well. Punky is almost 16 years old now and Lew is divorced and recently had heart surgery. http://www.angelfire.com/mo/motormark/Punky_n_Lew.html http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63249 http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Punky_n_Lew_n_Achi_2/ Fred http://www.arrowheadmotorsports.com From: everettcapebreton Sent: Friday, February 11, 2011 10:03 AM To: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com Subject: [DSN_KLR650] Former Cape Breton member back in the group I used to post alot on here years ago. I rode an A13 and lived on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. I spent some years working for Harley & Lamborghini in Toronto. Then got into electric bicycles heavily. Currently I live in Fort McMurray, Alberta and I drive heavy haulers in the oil field. I'm shopping fir a used '09 presently. What ever happened to Punky and Lou (sp?)
