#ygrps-yiv-1369624165 p {margin:0;}Well, once we get it down to Apple vs. Windows vs. Linux, then we have to go into a distro war.
My Preference:
Home:
2@Mac, 1@Dual-Boot WinXP/Ubuntu 10.10. XP is "Just in Case".
Windows is treated as a virus and is VLAN'd off from the rest of the important stuff.
Work:
Workstations:
2@Mac with Windows and RHEL VMs
Servers: Solaris on SPARC, everything else RHEL.
I'm fortunate enough to work in an exclusively UNIX/Linux environment. For many years I had to work on Windows. I can't complain, though. I've made pretty good money off people who use Windows... They called me a LOT more often.
