We were in a site remote enough to have it to ourselves on Labor Day weekend and heard all manner of motorcycles cruising the ridgeline road up until nearly midnight. Mostly they were the easily identifiable V-twins with outrageously loud pipes. Still, there was a good share of inline 4s shreaking through as well. The odd Ducati broke the repetition once. Funny how deeeep & pleasibly smooth they sound in comparison. Still, they shouldn't be heard through a mile or two of heavy trees and underbrush. To each his own. I was guilty myself.
