It looks like my TKC80 tires can take more weight than my KLR can -- at least comparing the sidewall max. load on the tires with the KLR Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (740 lb).
What's the heaviest folks have run their KLR's?

how heavy have you loaded your klr?
I ride mine
I'm 330 lbs + 15-20 for gear and stuff in my top box and my work laptop bag is another 20 or so. -Rich in Newberg, OR

Hey all "Cycle-Moore" In Interlochen Mi. (SW of traverse city) on M31 (paved hwy.) there is a Bike shop/Campgrounds. $6. per person, IF, You have a Motorcycle with you. (lots of rustic & some electric sights. NO reservations) Several antique bikes to see in the store/shop also. Lots of nice areas to ride On & off rd. Google it.
