Howdy, The forks separated easily when an impact wench was applied to the allen bolt at the fork base. So easily in fact that I got the fork I was working on first(trying not to interchange the parts) mixed with the fork full of oil. This caused the slapstick comedic-like eruption of old stinky/dirty fork oil when I took the cap off the top and released the spring. Standing there amidst a shower of old oil I felt like the CEO of BP for a second. On to the drivetrain!!
