hmmmm. I had the problem described, starving, bucking, top speed of 60mph at temps of 90F, cough, followed by the petcock gasket failure. Not immediately, but it happened. Oddly, the bucking was on the 01 and the petcock failure happened on the 98.?!>?!. How do you suppose those two KLR's did THAT! Thats what you get for letting a green bike and a blue bike do 'sleep-overs' unchaperoned in the parsonage garage. Oh, oh, oh. I got to go.
