hello list (again)

Well I am back. I have not been on here for several years as I went all German and started riding BMWs, but I am back on a KLR again. Woo! I started off with a Tengai B1[1] but that was stolen then went to a KLR A1[2] but sold it to by a 650 BMW now I have come back with another Tengai B1[3]. My decision to buy another KLR is that I was riding around on a R1100R BMW and it was quick but due to a lack of riding I was starting to turn into a 'fast only in a straight line' type of rider and I was making many silly cock-ups on tight corners etc. so I thought I would go back to a bike I enjoy riding and one that is very forgiving. Right down to questions, I was looking at the SW Motech pannier kits and I would like to fit one to the bike but according to some shop sites they wont fit the Tengai. Has anyone tried to fit them and why would they not want to fit?
