Hi Group,
Returned a few weeks ago from a round trip from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas with a buddy. I had sets of Shinko 700's on both bikes. No issues to be reported. We did the off road secion between Puertocitos and Coco's Corner/Mex 1. The tires performed well on the worlds most rocky road and in sections where the sand is terror. Nice road handling as well. I know they look similar to the stock Dunlops but trust me, they performed really well. I'll put them on again when they wear out. The new tire for my 01 and 07 KLR's.
Has anyone had a different experience with these tires?

P.S. Coco is still going strong, even with the new two matching equal length stumps. He just waddles around on them now. Same smile and good humor.
P.S.S. They are starting to pave the road from Puertocitos to Mex 1, bypassing Coco's Corner. If you had wanted to ride this road off road, better hurry, it will be paved all the way back to Mex 1 in no time.
