Eibach spring 450lb for my 187 lbs
Harbor Freight Small Macpherson strut compressor is on sale for $10
Grind uni claws not the double claws on compressors to fit the spring.
You don't have to take much off except the dogbones and a hose.
Air impact wrench makes it all much easier.
I knocked out my rear swingarm pivot bolt with a hammer and extension.
Pivot bolt was so dry, rusty and corroded it was pitted but I saved it.
On other end of shock from the preload adjuster is a 1 way adjuster.
I didn't mess this adjuster but it is dampening or rebound?
When I got done I measured the rear sag to be within 3/16" inch of 3".
IMPORTANT: After working on your bike, keep your speed down. I got pulled over on the 210 fwy but the big CHP guy from Redding, CA let me go. He said to slow down and he is after the sport bikes in the area and he can write a dozen riders going over a hundred easily. Taller cops always seem to be nicer than shorter cops; not trying to prove anything or compensate...
