#ygrps-yiv-1306868040 p {margin:0;}I like old Japanese bikes, so I'm a bit partial. There are other sources for parts other than OEM, and the GPZ was a fairly common model, although parts for aged Hondas are more common. If it starts, runs and rides I would offer him $1000.00 and see if he takes it.  11Kmiles is low but this can be a detriment as well as a benefit.  If it has sat unridden for long stretches, seals can dry out. Unless it's been immaculately maintained it will probably need fork seals, carb maintenance chain/sprocket and/or tires.  I always look at these items to get an idea of how a bike has been maintained.  How a person keeps up on those items is indicative of how they take care of the bike overall. Listen to the top-end for valve train rattle, etc. then go for it. Actual cash value: $0.02 -Jeff Khoury

It "is" 25 years old and Bike Bandit doesn't list it among models it still has parts for. The photo looks really good for such an antique. Any particular problems you might have heard of would be appreciated. I hope that the accumulated experience on this list might help me decide one way or the other.
