klr club of harlem nklr

Post by Rick McCauley » Thu Dec 03, 2009 1:15 pm

I used to ride wheelies like that. No I am not bragging, well maybe a little,  I had a DR400, and a souped up XT500 that I road wheelies on. Wheelies over 1/2 mile long were common place. I even passed a car one time with a bunch of young guys in it (I was 24 at the time) I have also hit the pavement at 50+ mph. Not a pleasant thing. If I hit the ground like that now days, it would be a major crisis. Now days if the front end of the KLR gets more than 3 feet off the ground, I poop a little. I do miss having the coordination, skill and guts to show off.   Rick A17     From: Kevin Powers Cc: dsn_klr650@yahoogroups.com Sent: Thu, December 3, 2009 12:21:47 PM Subject: Re: [DSN_KLR650] KLr club of Harlem   Not the Bronx.  Bed-Stuy is Brooklyn. -- Kevin Powers White Bear Lake, MN

Post by Nichols » Thu Dec 03, 2009 2:02 pm

Has anyone seen where a KLR650 has been back flipped? Here is a video of a Harley Sportster doing one: http://www.fullnoise.com.au/news/index.cfm?fuseaction=display_full&news_id=6470
