<><><><><><><><><> <><><><><><><><><> n9udl, transalp 1, I'm just guessing that having a slow moving vehicle sign on the back of a vehicle not moving slowly could be dangerous to other road users as well as the vehicle displaying the sign and also possibly illegal. Most of the vehicles that see the back of my bike only see it for a short bit unless I'm in traffic. I ride as much as possible out of traffic just to help increase my safety factor while enjoying a ride. I expect a vehicle or piece of equipment displaying a slow moving vehicle sign to be using as much of the shoulder of the road as possible and allowing other road users ample opportunities to pass.
