I bought a used 03' KLR in 06', it had 8K on it; it now has some 18K. And, finally something on it broke! I have had to change the battery, and tires, but I do not consider those "repairs." The diaphragm on the carb has gone bad, and has to be replaced. The parts at Kawa cost me all of $17.52!!! I consider that a pretty good track record of reliability! A six-year-old bike that has only had one repair, and a minor one at that, is pretty impressive. Best thing is that I am no mechanic, but I can change the diaphragm.
