us screening schedule nklr, ot

Post by Jeff Saline » Sat Sep 12, 2009 10:43 am

Listers, Airheads, OK Heads, Below is an e-mail I received from Dirt Track Productions. It tells of the US screening schedule for a film(s) about riders from India. I've got the DVDs and they are well made movies and productions. If you have an adventurous streak in you this will probably be a scratch to your adventure itch. I thought some of you may live near or be willing to travel to a screening and find it enjoyable. Most of the screenings are free which I know appeals to everyone. The organizers of the screenings are also open to adding screenings with your help and suggestions. You can contact Dirt Track Productions at the address below if you'd like to arrange a last minute screening in or near where you live. Well, all that the forum managed to do was to attract spammers selling performance enhancement drugs for men and exotic clothing for the ladies. But behind the scenes, we had many individuals and establishments helping us pull off this vague and unplanned idea. So we're happy to announce that Sobby (one of the riders from One Crazy Ride) and Gaurav (the rider and director of both the films) will be attending the 12 screenings that have been planned so far. One Crazy Ride has also been selected at the 32 year old Mill Valley Film Festival in California and at the Flagstaff Mountain Film Festival in Arizona. Both screenings are in the month of October 2009. If you are in the US, we hope to see you at one of the screenings. Admission to all the screenings (except the film festival screening) is free. If you can, do spread the word around to people and motorcycle clubs you know in the cities where the screenings have been planned. We are still in the process of finalizing screenings in Washington DC, Milwaukee, California and Delaware. (Hint: Help needed). You can mail us at info@... for organizing a last-minute screening in your city. Here's the list of the locations where the screenings are happening.
