left hand guard

What's the trick to mounting the left hand guard without cracking it or destroying other parts. The damn thing just doesn't want to go back on! Dave

I carry a couple of stem snakes in my traveling tools, mostly for karmic prophylaxis, but on the rare occasion when I can't get a stem to jump through the hole, they sure are handy to have.
