<><><><><><><> <><><><><><><> terranova22, Not an uncommon issue. I changed to M10 bolts on mine a few years ago and haven't had an issue since. If you can get the footpeg off is there enough stub available to grab with a vise-grip? If not if you can remove the other side maybe you could knock the centerstand off frame from the other side first and then slip the centerstand off the broken bolt remains. If you can't get the centerstand off, and they are normally a tight fit, I suppose you'll have to either weld a nut to the broken stub and back it off or drill them out. My suggestion if you go for drilling is to make darn sure you are smack dab in the center of each stub and use a left handed drill bit. I had no problem tapping the frame nuts to M10 but some folks have had issues with the material and larger size. My suggestion when you find footpeg bolts loose is remove and examine. Only reinstall if they show no wear or defects after a visible inspection. I'm betting yours were fractured from using them while loose. rotor holder wrench
Can I use a Crow-foot wrench
to hold the rotor
during a dohickey change ?
or is the happy-trail tool the way to go?
