corbin low riding seat

Post by getbent_net » Tue Jun 09, 2009 10:38 pm

On my bike I have the Corbin dual platform seat for my '08. The previous owner was 5'8ish and it fit him well. I'm 6'3 235lbs and find the seat gets uncomfy after a hundred miles. I can't sit back as much as I would like (36 inseam) and while cruising it feels like my knees are a little high. My Wife is 5'7 and finds the seat height and leg position about perfect. If you ever want to try to split-level Jud, let me know. Happy to swap for a week or so. http://www.happy-trail.com/Products/Corbin-Seat-Custom-KLR650-(all-years)__CBN-KLR-HPYT.aspx

I have the dish, and like it, but not as well as I like the flat Corbin, which is too tall for me. Still, the dished seat is miles better than the stock seat, but not nearly as good as the Corbin seat for the DR650, which is a good reason to pick the DR over the KLR, but probably not a satisfactory answer to your question. >
