> KISS it. "Keep It Simple Stupid " on an 08, there shouldnt be any component failures. you have checked alot of common problem area's. What has me thinking, is the Fuel supply. use a flashlight and look inside your tank, make sure no debri is in there that may clog the fuel shut off valve. second, have you added any aftermarket parts, or have you removed any front shrouds, headlamp support brackets etc. if you have, make sure no wires were pinched on install. double check harness. for no damage/short. you removed the carb bowl, did you also remove the slide ? if you have, check that the diagram is installed properly. from your description, it sounds like no fuel, or like you just turned the key off. suddenly just dies. when it restarts,,,, what are you doing? you did not explain your ( 5 minutes of fiddling ) once she starts and stays running, how is the performance ?
