ahh...thanks for the reply...I guess. I didn't mean to suggest anything. I asked a question...the IMS tank isn't a DOT legal tank, or something like that, and there have been questions in the past about whether or not that might be a problem crossing certain borders. The see thru version is particularly "obvious" as opposed to the opaque ones. Have you ridden a KLR to TDF with one of these tanks? If so did you have any problems Thanks Joe Joe

Right thanks. I'm not looking so much here for info on customs, bribes, contraband and such as I am on whether the IMS tank has ever been a problem cause it isn't DOT legal. I doubt it's ever even noticed but the transparent ones are a little obvious. I have heard questions about it being a problem when crossing certain borders. Just checking Thanks Joe
