<><><><><><><><> <><><><><><><><> maudibbb, Having absolutely no first hand experience with the Odyssey I'm gonna guess the battery is finally toast and you should just get a new battery and be thankful the old one lasted 7 years. That's pretty impressive for a motorcycle battery. I've got one that is going on 10 years but it's now used in a riding lawn mower instead of a bike. Longest I'll have to walk when that fails is on my property. : ) I'm gonna guess the OEM battery should fit fine but if the wires were moved to accommodate the Odyssey you might have to move them back. (nklr) still another 08 recall

Post by David Bell » Mon Mar 02, 2009 8:15 pm

My Walther PPK just got recalled. Seems that with the safety off, letting the hammer down manually will sometimes fire the weapon. Gee. Bond is spinning in his grave. db ________________________________ From: smthng else To: DSN _KLR650 DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Monday, March 2, 2009 5:20:01 PM Subject: Re: [DSN_KLR650] Still Another 08 Recall Sorry if you get this twice, Jim... I forgot to reply to all (that process sucks... pet peeve). On Mon, Mar 2, 2009 at 5:40 PM, Jim Douglas wrote:

Got mine today for my '08. My exhaust had already fallen off, melted the rear brake line, a few other plastic bits, replaced under waranty, etc. I haven't checked the wiring harness, but will when I get the chance. I'll get it in to a dealer some time soon, but I'm not in a great hurry. But, I didn't get any kind of notice on turn signals yet, which I've already almost knocked off. :S --Jonathan "smthng" Kalmes Springfield, VA 2005 Yamaha FJR1300ABS - "Blue Bayou" 2006 Jeep Unlimited Rubicon - "Teflon" 2008 Kawasaki KLR 650 - It's here, but it hasn't earned a name yet. ;) http://smthng. info [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
