general questions???????? nklr

I Disagree. Had a Stock lamp burn out in my truck, thought I got a good deal ( Read that as free to me) on a pair of not Silverstar knockoffs only to find one was a non-op, and it looked funny with one bright and one dimmer stock lamp, in an effort to find another of the same brand I gave up and bought a pair of Silverstars at walmart. Much brighter than stock and have a better light pattern. They do put more light in my path, not sure how it would effect my KLR however. Just my $.02 (Shsss don't tell the Democrats I got $.02 hidden away) Dooden A15 Green Ape

The pattern is determined by the reflector and lens, not the bulb. If you bought the silver stars from Walmart, they are probably the Sylvania silver stars - NOT the Osram silver stars. *Any* tint on a bulb will decrease light output. Don't take it from me, take it from the experts. I guess this is a way for us to finally go green. DC is printing green money so fast, we can't cut down the trees quick enough to make the paper. I hope they are making enough toilet paper. We are going to need it. Heh! Criswell

Nope. It went out with Bush's TARP bailout and never "trickled down" to welfare. I heard it went to something called "bonuses".
