inflation solutions nklr

Or Germany in the 20's. People would make their children buy bread after school as the price of bread would increase by the time the parents got off work. The shattered economy in Germany paved the way for Hitler and his ilk to take over further shattering the country. Scary times we live in. Criswell

According to the FAQ, the header pipe on the new KLRs will bolt on to the old bikes. Is this true? Do any of you have any experience with this? I have a Tengai and the header pipe and shield need to be replaced. The new one is stainless and looks a lot better than the old rusty black. The heat shield is also much nicer. Too bad I couldn't just order a new shield from Kawi and bolt it onto my old pipe. Does anyone have one for sale? Mike "Note also that the head pipe from the next generation KLR650 is a bolt-on replacement for the old pipe, and supposedly has smoother bends than the stock pipe. You will also need the new heat shield and fittings; the old one won't fit."
