gas cap problems

I've been having some problems with my gas cap. It isn't venting properly, and expresses gasoline, which is soaking into my tank bag. I checked the tank vent line and that is clear so I'm assuming the problem is with the cap itself. The faq mentions the whistling problem, but doesn't mention a fix.
