why do i smell antifreeze?

I had the same problem. I tightened all the hose connections and the smell went away. BTW, the hose clamps didn't tighten by any noticeable amount. As one poster said, it doesn't take much at all for you to smell it. Look for joints/seams/radiator core that look darker or moist when giving the bike the "once over." I've had car radiators have pinhole leaks starting where the 1st symptom was just the smell of antifreeze. On my bikes, it's usually a loose hose clamp. John
