bar end weights - anyone ever install them?

I made a hole in the Right grip, stuck a long plastic tube on a tube of window caulking, and filled the bars with it on my old '99. Cost $3, mirrors were immediately usable , added weight, about 8 oz, I would guess. Worth trying. DC Walter Mitty wrote:
