Received word today that my aunt's preacher (Batesville, AR) hit a deer on his bike. Then a car came along and ran over him. He was 61. I guess we need to keep in mind that hitting a deer may not be the worst thing that can happen. Wow. I have thought about this personally when riding my bike. So you lay the bike over for whatever reason. Sometimes not a big deal. But then you realize that you had better get to your feet and get the heck off the road pronto before a cager plows over you. I particularly think of this on the highway when traffic is heavy but moving quickly. Don+
