[dsn_klr650] carburetor problem solved

My KLR makes noise and I need advise as to how to stop it. When on a bumpy road the speedometer, so it seems, rattles badly. However, I can support it with my hand and there seems to still be rattle--maybe something else too. Anyone else have the same problem? Check if steering nut (big nut) is loose under the handlebars. This is a common source of such a noise. If it is, mark the position of your bars. Then remove the 4 small bolts (heads hidden under caps) that hold the handlebars in place and obstruct this nut. Lock-tite the big nut and tighten it to 31 ft-lbs. Torque the 4-bolts to 17.5ft lbs. Check if the speedo assembly is loose, it might rattle against the mounts.
