question about wiring

Post by nakedwaterskier » Mon Oct 06, 2008 8:28 am

You can just get a brighter stock wattage bulb then you don't have to change the fuse or bulb holder and you get significantly more light. If you go to the 80/100 you are supposed to get a higher temp socket though many got away without doing this. Many KLRistas change from glass fuses to blade fuses. I didnt buy the whole change over kit. I just bot the blade type fuse holders and spliced them in where the glass type fuse holders were. You can be fancy with solder and heat shrink or crimp. For my main fuse, I put in a blade type fuse holder but put in and automatic reseting circuit breaker also avail at many auto stores.
