Thanks for including your motive. My initial knee-jerk thought when I saw the subject was that you wanted you "reduce unsprung weight." Mark>has any one used the hollow axle bolt from a klr600 on a newer klr650? > >or any other hollow axle nuts? > >i am looking at mounting a trailer to my klr.

hollow klr600 axle bolt on a klr650?
This is a normal arrangement for the "trailtail" trailers. I am thinking
of getting one this winter a a winter, (off-season), project.

got muffler?
I took my '06 in to the dealer after getting the third recall
postcard from Kawi. One muffler bolt was missing. I had already
lost and replaced the exhaust pipe bolt down by the starter motor
within the first 2000 miles.
