Would be even better to do it private as lots of us really don't care to see anything political on this list. It's been kept pretty near straight motorcycle stuff for years. Let's keep it that way. '43 Andy in Louisiana

You apparently weren't here in 2004. It got pretty ugly. That is why I prefer to talk about things more relevant to the list, such as what dual-sport tires does Obama recommend for use in Death Valley, and what oil does Sarah Palin recommend for use in my KLR? And does McCain favor hard luggage or soft luggage for adventure touring? Those are the important questions for this list :-). -E

So, how difficult is it to delete a NKLR post that you do not want to read? About as hard as deleting a spam message. And having to do it pisses everybody off as much as getting an unwanted spam message. Get the message? Jeff A20 In a message dated 9/19/2008 4:16:12 P.M. So maybe those who want to regulate the rest (by the way; I don't read the NKLR's unless the subject line peaks my interest), are those who get pissed off easy. I simply don't see the harm. About as hard as deleting a spam message. And having to do it pisses everybody off as much as getting an unwanted spam message. Get the message? +1000!!! Please take your political messages to a list dedicated to political discussions or private email. Putting political discussions on a list dedicated to a certain type of dual sport motorcycle is inane and obnoxious! If we wanted to hear it we'd sign up for a political discussions list. Get THIS message? $bob$ [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Apparently you don't see the harm because you did not take the time to read the rules for this list. It is supposed to be for information related to the KLR. By the way, that is a motorcycle, not a political party. Do you walk into a bowling alley with your golf clubs? Same kind of idea. Jeff A20 my bike is red, so am I a communist? I sending this directly, cause this is not KLR related either. My intent was not to piss you off, but I seemed to accomplish that anyway. I know the rules, and so do most listers, especially active ones. I am pretty sure just about every active person has posted a NKLR; have you? Reading the rules or knowing them does not have anything to do with my comment about not seeing the harm. I simply don't see the harm. No "deeper" than that. Opinion only. Some are quite interesting. This one just seemed to run away. How about when there is a long running thread on tires, when there was just another long running thread on tires a week earlier, and 2 weeks before that. Those are just as easy for me to delete as any NKLR that I have no interest in. Have a Great Weekend. I am going to ride my "red klr" and I am not a communist. (not really sure what you meant by that anyway) Ron Moorhouse Modesto, CA ----- Original Message ---- From: "Jokerloco9@..."
