prepping klr for sale in socal
It's not quite ready yet, but I'm getting my beat-up and nearly
worn out 2000 KLR-650 ready to sell. Been down more times than a
crack whole, frame's been welded, all plastics have some kind of
damage. Not a basket case, though, as it *is* a fully functional
KLR minus the speedometer and odometer. I just can't guarantee
that something won't break in a week.
Guessing 60k miles on the clock, engine cases are sound (never
damaged), the head is good (never messed with), and the wheels
are undamaged. Heck, there's a grand worth of KLR parts right
there; Buy that stuff for a grand and the rest of the bike would
come for free! Clean title, new battery, new chain. Oil changed
religiously every 3k.
Any interest?

PS. There's also a 2005 Serow (XT225) in the stable with about
300 miles on it that's gonna get listed too, eventually. Perfect
other than scratches from trail drops.
