I have a Street Pilot that works fine in the car. Does not work well in my son's car. Planning a trip this afternoon on the KLR. Can't get the think to work. Plugged it in on the bike and the green light comes on but not the screen. What can be done to fix this? rw [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

My Garmin (different model) works fine on my KLR. I have a 12 volt standard outlet wired directly from the battery. It's fused. The KLR vibrates a lot but the GPS doesn't seem to mind. If yours works in your car, there is no reason why it should not work everywhere else. Robert Waters wrote:
