what to doo next? balancer chain within spec...suspect kaw p/n 1

Thanks for this link/heads up. Next time I'll be sending business here or elsewhere. I'm recommending avoid Colorado Powersports in Boulder-- just bad business and shotty service. It doesn't give a hoot about customers. This morning at 9AM, I tried to cancel my order with my local dealer. But because I made the order before 4pm the previous day, I'd be charged a 20% restocking fee. Geez, I'm so sick of this crap. I get a sub-standard service on a top end job and now this nickel and dime rubbish? I can't take anymore. So tonight I went to the police station and took out a restraining order against myself. I legally restricted myself from coming within 100ft of Colorado Powersports in Boulder. I'll try another Kawi dealer. The final straw was today when the service manager called (after "talking to the owner") and said the factory must have erroneously installed the stud in the cylinder head where a bolt is supposed to go (my cylinder head wasn't torqued properly after a recent top end job for $1,100). Excuses excuses. I told him his mechanic is a clown and it's clear in several other mistakes but he insisted this top mechanic would never do such a thing. Well, this mechanic installed Walmart bolts without the special washers where the seat bolts go and an exhaust manifold stud so long the acorn nut was useless causing the exhaust to leak...cut a radiator hose...yeah...must have been the factory. Another guy had problems with his KLR and won't go back either. The funny thing was the service manager called this morning and said the best the owner can do is cut you a break on parts. He said after talking with the parts counter it sounds like we're working with you already there. Yeah, I made them match the friggin price on the internet! Laughable...
