bike won t run,,, well
Sound like junk in the carb. And nothing SeaFome will clear out,
probably some rust flakes, heavy varnish deposits, ...
Your best bet it to pull the carb apart and completely cleat it out.
Look through the FAQ www.bigcee.com/klr650faq.html> There are some mods
you might want to do like adjust the needle, new jet, pilot screw
adjustment.
Just be careful with the diaphragm, if it's old (even new) it can tear
easily. Look on eBay for Harley CV carbs, the H.D. guys pull them off
their bike and sell them (because they have a Japanese name on them).

130/80 x 17 vs. 4.60 x 17?

It looks like the front (90/90 x 21) will fit fine. But the 250 stock rear is listed as a 4.60 x 17. The 650's 130/80 x 17 looks like it's an inch size of 5.0 whereas a 4.60 x 17 would be more like a 120/90 or 110/90 metric size. Is the 650's 130/80 x 17 rear tire likely to fit? I don't want to get to where the bike is and be unable to mount the replacement tire on it; I don't think I can drag a KLR250 home on the commuter rail (though it would be hella fun to try!)
