Greetings. Long time lurker, long time since I posted. I've moved from Western MA to Northern VA and have to concede that riding down here is pretty insane between rushed and distracted drivers, congested highways and the horrible air on the roads, especially sitting in traffic. I've loved the KLR. You MIGHT have seen my write up on the Cool Tools website: http://www.kk.org/cooltools/archives/000606.php As much as I hate to, I'm putting my '99 KLR up for sale. My question is what would be a fair asking price. I appreciate any suggestions. Here are the stats: 13654 miles Corbin seat (flat) Avon Distanzia tires Skid plate Extra tall windscreen (Rifle) Highway pegs Custom dash cover Chain balancer tensioner New fork springs Braided steel brake line Stainless steel reusable oil filter Happy Trails rack Givi bags (side and top) Custom non-vibration mirrors Hand guard protectors Radiator guard Bar raisers Circuit breakers upgrade It has been well maintained and has been run on synthetic motor oil. I did lay it down last year, breaking one mirror and bending the Happy Trails rack somewhat. Pretty easily fixed. Some rust on the frame from New England salt. Again, thanks for any comments.
