Hi all I had a steering problem with my 08 I thought it was a tire, as it was wore. But the real trouble was the bottom bearing in the steering coloum. My bike is out of warranty by 2 months and the dealer I bought it off has gone out of business. I can fix it my self I have it apart and the bearing on order from my bearing supplier. I think the thing was bad from day one. But it took a year and 22000 kilos to manifest itself. Has any one else had this trouble. If so I think it is a safety issue that need to be addressed. Listers, Heads, OK Heads, Just got my final issue of the Harbor Freight sale catalog unless I order something. It shows a 6 inch digital caliper on sale for $9.99. It looks like the one I bought 7 or 8 years ago and this is a very good price for the average shop caliper. I've checked mine a few times over the years and it remains accurate to 0.001". If you're interested, the catalog is number 163-D Summer 2008. It's on page VII which is the inside back cover. Item number is 97675-2AZB. You can probably find it on line at www.harborfreight.com using the search function and the item number. If I had a need for a third 6" digital caliper I'd probably be ordering one of these.
