About 200 km before my cross Canada trip ended at St Johns' Nfld, I noticed that there was something creeping into my field of vision on the right side of the face shield. So I figured that something was going to fall apart soon. Since I was moving right along in a wet fog I made a corporate decision to try and fix it, because life with no visor was going to be miserable. I pulled well off the hwy and promptly disconnected the hinge, which I could not put back together. I dug into my bags and found a roll of waterproof tape and just taped it up solid. I had to repeat the exercise in about 150 km. then I was into St Johns in the bright sunshine that had started 10 km out.
This morning I took it in to Fun 'n Fast here in St Johns' and the lad at the parts counter took about 2 minutes to replace the missing screw that started this episode, and undo my personal screw up, no charge. They have a Green 2008 KLR going for $6800 on the floor. I was told that they can't get enough of them, and this is the third dealer that has told me that.
They sure treated me all right, as has everyone I've dealt with in Nfld.

Up visiting and have seen a red 08 KLR traveling through the HUGE
downtown area of Kearney, MO
, about (4) blocks in length, anyone on list? I flew up from Dallas this
time but wanted to ride the 530
miles on the KLR and wish now that I did as there are so may cool back
roads around here to check
out!
