Post by Jim Douglas » Thu Jun 05, 2008 6:27 pm

Been googling and can't find anywhere in the area? Anyone purchase these from local place in DFW area? I realize I can get them from Fred, probably, will check out his site after this but was concerned about the shipping $$ from there to here. Thanks!

And you won't be able to beat Fred's prices either. if you do find a lower price call them to see if they have them in stock. they usually don't. Fred's site tells you if they are in stock or not. They are worth the wait and the money. Being that they are a German tire the prices have gone up most likely due to the dollar's value but the next best option is $50 more and hard to find in 17" rim size. You'll be more then pleased with the Mefo, probably the best dot legal true 50/50 tire around.

Hey there, if you're reading this then you wrench on yer ride yourself. I've put together a few ideas(how to change a tire, pack for a long trip, suggested mods, etc). Check it out if you own a KLR-ish bike or like sharing ideas & if you like it, don't forget to comment. http://moreklrscheisse.blogspot.com/ http://moreklrscheisse.blogspot.com/> [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
