Anyone know if the pre-08 IMS / milspec tank is a drop on fit for the 2008 model? Thanks Dave C

Don't know for sure but the stock tank seems to be the same just with extra mounts for the radiator shrouds. So if the stock tank is the same I would guess the pre 08 IMS would drop on. Although I remember something about a bigger radiator on the 08 but I might be wrong. Kerry

about 44, riding off road as much as possible; usually in a hurry to get to the off road areas about 60 miles from home.

Don't have any fun. ;') Just kidding. Ride slower and shift sooner. Stop trying to do wheelies (stoppies are ok). And run a can of Seafoam through it. I'm a new convert to the ways of the foam. I was getting in the low 40s for mpg before I rode in Moab with Fred. Guess the blessing helped because I then started getting the high 40s. When I got home I ran a can of Seafoam through the bike and now I'm getting 52-ish on 10% ethanol (hard to avoid the stuff in the NE). I think that 10% makes a difference as well. Now if I could just back off the throttle a little bit I might see the infamous 60, but that ain't likely. da Vermonster
